Hair Transplant Surgery
When it comes to your hair loss, our main objective is to help you restore your hair and confidence alike. Whether that’s through the innovative ARTAS® system or our own Max Growth procedure depends on your specific condition and concerns, such as the tolerance for a linear scare, how much hair you’ve lost and how many treatments you may need.
The tried and true Max Growth transplant is a great option for people who simply need more hair. In fact, a Max Growth procedure results in a higher percentage of hair transplant in a single procedure. Additionally, a typical patient can have between 2-4 Max Growth procedures in a lifetime.
Why Max Growth?
Often referred to as the strip method, Max Growth leaves a thin, discrete linear scar that is easily covered with most hairstyles. With the Max Growth Technique, tissue and donor follicles are removed; the remaining tissue is sutured, leaving the remaining scalp tissue completely intact. The hair on each side of the linear scar is just as thick as it was before the surgery. All results are perfectly balanced and natural.
The Max Growth procedure, because it is done by the hands of our skilled hair restoration specialist, allows the ability to vary graft sizes depending on the destination area (i.e. the frontal hairline will have 1 hair grafts to insure a natural result whereas the vertex has a mixture of graft sizes containing more hairs)
How To Know If Max Growth Is Right
In short, come in and have a conversation with one of our doctors. But to start with, consider whether or not you’re in need of a megasession or multiple treatments.
A lot of people make a lot out of the linear scar. And while that’s certainly something to consider, it’s important to remember that your results are only as good as your doctor. You’ve likely only ever noticed the linear scar left behind by a subpar doctor, whereas you’ve never taken note of a linear scare performed by a skilled hair restoration physician.
