EndyMed Intensif is an advanced radiofrequency treatment therapy featuring an array of micro-diameter needles that are used to safely and effectively deliver focused energy deep into the dermis, providing a revolutionary collagen remodeling solution that can effectively treat acne with moderate discomfort and little downtime.
EndyMed’s Intensif hand piece works by delivering short pulses of radiofrequency energy through an array of 25 sterilized, gold plated micro-needles (300 microns thin). The radiofrequency energy heats the papillary and reticular dermis, stimulating a natural skin improvement process that tightens the skin.
The Intensif treatment hand piece provides effective dermal skin remodeling, deep within the skin to revive and rejuvenate the natural production of new collagen and elastin. Treatment with the Intensif triggers the skin’s natural healing process, rejuvenating and refreshing the skin while reducing the appearance of acne in all skin types. And the benefits are long lasting – with the EndyMed Intensif; your skin will continue to improve up to a year after your last treatment session.
About the Procedure
During the procedure, the handpiece is moved over the area that is being treated. The treatment can cause a tingling sensation and heat on the skin, which is well-tolerated thanks to an anesthetic cream applied prior to the treatment.
The full treatment takes anywhere between 30-45 minutes, depending on the size of the area that is being treated. As most of the energy is delivered directly into the inner layer of the skin, patients will experience minimal discomfort and downtime and may resume normal activities immediately after treatment.
Following treatment most patients can immediately resume all normal activities. You may notice slight redness or swelling, which should disappear in a few hours. Generally, we recommend 3 to 6 treatments at 2 to 4-week intervals for best results.
In the majority of patients, the results are visible after the first treatment, but full results appear gradually over the 12 weeks following the end of treatment.
